My experience with dj tables is more than 20 years, I have lived and work in different environments, sometimes having a lot of space, and sometimes having none! But I always manage to have my corner where I can play music. My first cassette shelf was from old window drape frame, CD shelf I made from the wood I stole from  neighbor house. I have made also vhs shelfs, dvd’s, cd’s, book or vinyl shelfs… you name it, I have a story and experience with them. With good bugged and with NO $ in your packet.

Today I will narrow some of my favorite websites and some of my favorite pictures so you can build some imagination for your future DJ booth. It can be in your club or a lounge, bedroom, basement, apartment, wherever you live, always there is a room for your toys

I’m not a musician, but lately I found great interest in instruments. Here is a picture of me playing the slit gong. I almost got kicked from the museum because I was drumming for 30 minutes   loved the bass! I don’t think we will ever get equipment to record the real sound this gong made!

A Slit gong, sometimes also called “slit drum”, is a log drum used throughout Africa, Southeast Asia, and Oceania. It is usually called a boungu in Africa. A whole log is hollowed out through a narrow slit running the length of the log. Slit gong players use padded sticks to produce a range of penetrating musical notes, depending on where and how the gong is struck. The gong may be carved into various pleasing or significant shapes. Slit gongs are often referred to as drums, even though this is slightly incorrect; drums are technically membranophones whereas a slit gong is an idiophone.

In most instruments, the wood on the two sides of the slit is of different thickness, resulting in tones of different pitch. They can therefore be used to imitate the tonal patterns found in tonal languages. Instruments with two slits (like the ones shown on the picture) can thus have up to four different pitches.

Slit gongs, strategically situated for optimal acoustic transmission (e.g. along a river or valley), have been used for long-distance communication. Lats say you was in the Jungle and the village was attacked I will have played the alarm, they had different pattern for different situation or people to call!

House Music in the beach?! I’m there!
The only place in NJ shore that I know plays house music with live DJ on the corner is Aqua Lounge!. This venue is available to us thanks to DJ Esteban. All we have do to is support him so this place can keep us for the years to come. The beach is just steps a way, good view, good food, good people, house music and $3 a beer!

That’s me when I get older or younger!
Can’t get enough watching it, don’t know how to feel about this person…sad or happy for him. I will go with “happy” because he is happy and I think we are program to not do this things when we get older. But whyyyy, why we can not be crazy and happy like him, what’s wrong ?!

Wait… another friend just send you new promo from Dennis Ferrer, hurry burn another CD!

Burning CD’s is a pain, just waiting in front of the computer to burn a CD… is pain too!
Driving in the car and switching back and forth to the CD is dangerous, did I mention the annoying breaks of CD skipping!
You are a DJ, Producer, Music Lover and you constantly burn CD’s… I bet every month you go and buy CD’S because you burn so many of them.

I don’t care about the time, I care about the money (I love money, you know me) so…by buying a USB Car Radio I save 1ooo$ a year! If you don’t feel like burning CDs just throw the MP3/WMA/AAC/WAV files you want on a USB device and enjoy.

I have 100 visitors every day, so I was wondering one day…where they coming from?!  here is the result with Germany leading the way.  Now that I have more free time I will try to update this site every week with some news about house music, dj equipment and new mixes of course.
